1099 Psychotherapist (MD, PsyD, Phd, LCSW, LMFT)

MFPPLLC is seeking a 1099 Psychotherapist to provide remote mental health services and support clients through evidence-based psychotherapy. Position Summary This contract engagement calls for an independent 1099 Psychotherapist to deliver psychotherapy services to clients, including assessment, treatment planning, and ongoing clinical work. Through this approximately 3-month engagement, the selected clinician will contribute to client care by providing structured, trauma-informed therapy sessions consistent with professional standards. Work will be performed remotely, with services conducted with attention to clinical documentation, ethical obligations, and safeguarding client confidentiality throughout the duration of the engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct initial clinical intake and ongoing therapy sessions, including clinical assessment and symptom monitoring Develop and update treatment plans based on client needs, goals, and progress over time Provide psychotherapy using appropriate modalities and evidence-based clinical approaches Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with applicable standards and policies Uphold ethical guidelines, confidentiality requirements, and professional conduct in all client interactions

Required Qualifications

Current clinical licensure to provide psychotherapy (MD, PsyD, PhD, LCSW, or LMFT) Demonstrated experience delivering psychotherapy services to diverse client populations Strong clinical judgment, assessment skills, and ability to formulate and support treatment goals Proficiency in completing clear, complete, and timely clinical documentation Ability to work effectively and maintain professional boundaries in a remote care environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with complex clinical presentations, including trauma-related concerns Familiarity with brief or structured therapy approaches and goal-oriented treatment plans Experience collaborating with care teams or referral sources to support continuity of care Comfort using remote platforms to deliver psychotherapy with consistent privacy practices

Compensation

Hourly rate: 70/30 cut, you get Branding, Marketing, EMR platform, Group Paneling, etc. You may also bring your existing clients with you if you decide to leave your current practice. We will not micromanage note taking. We take the hard part out so you can focus on providing excellent therapy. We have better rates than headway or alma. If you bring 2 associate level clinicians in, you lose the 70/30 cut and it all goes back to you. Contract term: 3 months.
