Account / Engagement Manager - Data & AI
We are headhunting on behalf of a growing Data & AI consultancy that is looking for an experienced Account / Engagement Manager - Data & AI based in California to lead complex enterprise engagements across data modernization, analytics, and AI. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned consulting leader who thrives on managing strategic client relationships, overseeing large-scale technical delivery, and working directly with C-suite and VP-level stakeholders. 💼 The Opportunity You'll take ownership of strategic enterprise accounts, acting as the senior delivery leader responsible for ensuring successful project execution, client satisfaction, and measurable business outcomes. Working alongside Account Executives, Solution Architects, and technical delivery teams, you'll oversee complex, multi-workstream engagements involving teams of 5–20 consultants and engineers. 🔹 Key Responsibilities Own end-to-end delivery of large-scale Data, Analytics & AI consulting engagements. Build trusted relationships with C-suite executives, VP-level stakeholders, and enterprise clients. Lead program governance, delivery strategy, executive reporting, and risk management. Oversee project scope, budgets, timelines, resources, and commercial performance. Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams of architects, engineers, consultants, and analysts. Identify delivery risks, resolve escalations, and ensure successful client outcomes. Partner with sales leadership to identify account expansion opportunities and strengthen long-term client relationships. 🔹 What I'm Looking For Strong background in Data & AI consulting / professional services . Proven experience leading complex enterprise data transformation, modernization, or analytics programs. Experience managing multiple technical workstreams and consulting delivery teams. Excellent executive stakeholder management and communication skills. Strong understanding of SOWs, program governance, commercial delivery, and risk management. Ability to bridge technical delivery teams and senior business stakeholders. Experience within a boutique or established Data & AI consultancy is highly desirable. 📍 Location: Remote in California only 📄 Employment: Contract-to-Hire
