The Sports Communication & Media Program at Rowan University is seeking qualified adjuncts to teach undergraduate courses in the following areas
*Introduction to Esports
*Esports Coverage & Media: Reporting
*Esports Coverage & Media: Shoutcasting
*Esports Coverage & Media: In-Game Observing
All courses will be taught online.
EDUCATION
Master's degree desired. Bachelor's degree in a related field and significant professional experience in Esports field coverage and media or related Esports communication work.
A track record of successful teaching, especially in an online environment, is desirable.

NOTE
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US, and the university will not sponsor an applicant for a work visa for this position.
Salary
In compliance with the State of New Jersey’s Pay Transparency Act, and in accordance with the current MOA, Rowan University adjuncts are provided with a minimum of $2,225 (after 9/1/2026) per credit for all courses taught, with a maximum teaching load of8 credits per semester and 12 credits in an academic year. Courses will be assigned to instructors by College of Department on an as-needed basis.
Teach online undergraduate esports courses; bachelor's degree plus significant professional esports/media experience required; master’s degree preferred; proven online teaching ability; must be authorized to work in the US.
