About the Role
InDev is seeking a ServiceNow AI Developer to design, develop, configure, and optimize AI-powered solutions within the ServiceNow platform. This full-time W-2 position is remote and requires an active Top Secret or Department of Homeland Security (DHS) security clearance. In this role, you will configure workflows using Flow Designer, build conversational AI experiences, and integrate AI capabilities with core ServiceNow modules, including IT Service Management (ITSM) and scoped applications. You will work with business analysts and stakeholders to translate operational requirements into responsive, user-friendly AI solutions while supporting testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Design and configure AI-powered use cases, including chat summarization, resolution note generation, knowledge article generation, response recommendations, and content generation. Configure out-of-the-box workflows using ServiceNow Flow Designer. Integrate conversational AI capabilities with ServiceNow modules, including IT Service Management (ITSM). Extend platform functionality using JavaScript, Glide APIs, UI policies, and RESTful web services. Configure conversational AI experiences and AI-powered workflows within ServiceNow. Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and optimize solution performance. Manage update sets and support platform configuration changes. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand operational requirements and develop suitable AI solutions.
Required Qualifications
Active Top Secret or DHS security clearance. At least five years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience. Dedicated experience building conversational agents. Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, REST/JSON integrations, and Flow Designer. Understanding of Access Control Lists (ACLs), ServiceNow data models, update sets, and client scripts. Experience with AI Search, AI Agents, prompt engineering, large language models (LLMs), and agentic AI. Experience with AI Agent Studio and generative AI platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification. ServiceNow AI Professional certification. Work Arrangement and Employment Type Remote position. Full-time W-2 employment.
