AI Engineer II - Growth (Remote)
About the Company
CrowdStrike is a global cybersecurity company focused on protecting the people, processes, and technologies that power modern organizations. Founded in 2011, the company develops an AI-native security platform and operates large-scale distributed systems that process nearly 3 trillion events per day. CrowdStrike promotes flexibility, autonomy, responsible AI adoption, experimentation, and continuous learning. Its teams use AI to improve workflows, accelerate execution, and solve complex business and technical challenges.
About the Role
CrowdStrike is expanding its marketing technology capabilities by building an agentic AI platform designed to automate end-to-end workflows and improve marketing execution. This role offers an opportunity to develop AI-powered applications, orchestration pipelines, unified data foundations, internal tools, and production-grade integrations. You will work directly with marketing teams to identify operational challenges and turn them into reliable, scalable technical solutions. Reporting to the VP of Marketing Excellence & Transformation, you will have ownership of projects from initial prototypes through production deployment, with a focus on improving workflow adoption, operational efficiency, and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Translate marketing business problems into technical designs and working applications, managing development from prototypes to production deployments. Design and implement AI agents, agent orchestration, tool usage, retrieval, context management, and multi-step or multi-agent workflows. Integrate AI applications with existing data sources, APIs, business platforms, and enterprise systems. Develop orchestration infrastructure for multi-agent pipelines, including state persistence, error recovery, and parallel execution. Build intuitive web interfaces for non-technical marketing users, including campaign dashboards, workflow builders, approval interfaces, and real-time pipeline status views. Create production tools for HTML and email template generation, design asset pipelines involving PPTX, PDF, and SVG formats, and content publishing workflows. Develop and use evaluation frameworks, regression tests, and monitoring systems to measure AI solution quality, reliability, and business outcomes. Build and deploy custom AI agents and workflows that integrate AI APIs, MCP servers, automation platforms, and enterprise systems into go-to-market operations. Own CI/CD processes, automated testing, regression detection, deployment pipelines, monitoring, and alerting. Optimize LLM API performance, caching, parallelization, and cost management for high-volume campaign execution. Collaborate with Performance Marketing, Digital Intelligence, Engineering, and marketing leadership to align technical roadmaps with business priorities. Continuously improve product architecture, performance, reliability, user experience, and knowledge models. Share technical knowledge with colleagues, mentor fellow engineers, and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture.
Required Qualifications
Demonstrated experience using AI technologies and tools such as Cowork, Codex, or Manus to improve decision-making, streamline workflows, increase efficiency, and drive business outcomes. Production experience with LLM and AI APIs, including models such as Claude or GPT, with an understanding of token management, rate limiting, error handling, reliability, and cost optimization. Demonstrated experience designing, building, and deploying AI agent workflows that address real operational needs. Experience with AI evaluation frameworks and evaluation-driven development. Experience designing and deploying multi-step agent systems, including orchestration, context management, and failure handling. At least 8 years of full-stack engineering experience with Python and modern JavaScript or TypeScript. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Strong systems design skills, including multi-service architecture, API design, and infrastructure decisions that support scalability. Experience integrating systems through REST APIs, webhooks, and OAuth, including working with enterprise project management, content management, and marketing automation platforms. A strong ability to build practical solutions, work through ambiguity, make sound architectural decisions, and improve systems iteratively. Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with multi-agent AI systems, LLM orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, CrewAI, or Claude Code agents, or large-scale AI automation. Experience working with marketing teams or developing systems for marketers, including familiarity with Workfront, Asana, Marketo, HubSpot, content management systems, or campaign lifecycle processes. Frontend engineering experience with React or equivalent technologies and experience building production web applications. Working knowledge of CI/CD, containerization, cloud infrastructure, and observability, with AWS preferred. Experience building internal platforms, developer tools, or self-service systems for other teams. Experience creating workflow builders, drag-and-drop interfaces, or low-code/no-code platforms. Familiarity with document and content pipelines, including HTML email rendering, PDF or PPTX generation, structured publishing, and visual output generation from structured data. Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, retrieval systems, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures. Background in marketing operations, Revenue Operations (RevOps), digital product management, personalization, or journey orchestration. Experience leading technical teams or influencing technical direction across functions. Contributions to open-source AI or automation projects, or a strong technical writing portfolio. Previous experience in high-growth B2B SaaS or cybersecurity environments. Salary and Benefits The U.S. base salary range is $160,000โ$250,000 per year. Placement within the range depends on factors such as relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location. Additional compensation may include bonuses and equity grants. Benefits include health insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, comprehensive physical and mental wellness programs, paid parental and adoption leave, professional development opportunities, employee networks, geographic community groups, and volunteer opportunities.
