What You'll Do
Evaluate AI-generated Japanese speech and text for linguistic accuracy, naturalness, and educational quality Assess learner speech and writing across proficiency levels from CEFR Pre-A1 through B2+ Identify learner errors, unnatural phrasing, and pedagogical gaps with expert judgment Suggest improvements for clear, idiomatic, and pedagogically sound Japanese Provide structured feedback that directly improves AI tutoring and language-learning models Collaborate asynchronously with project leads and fellow language experts Who You Are Native or near-native fluency in Japanese Experience teaching Japanese or evaluating learner language Strong written communication skills in both Japanese and English (C1/C2) Solid familiarity with CEFR frameworks and learner speech patterns Enrolled in or completed a Bachelor's degree or higher Attention to detail and consistency in linguistic judgment No prior AI experience required
Nice to Have
Experience with language assessment, curriculum design, or standardized testing Exposure to AI-powered language tools or educational technology Comfort working independently in structured, asynchronous workflows
