Job Title :AtScale SMELocation :Remote but must be prepared to work East Coast hours.Department :Data Analytics / Business IntelligenceJob Overview :We are seeking a skilled AtScale consultant with a heavy focus on semantic layering to join our data analytics team.This role involves designing, implementing, and managing multi-dimensional data models using AtScale's platform to streamline data democratization, enhance reporting capabilities, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.Key Responsibilities :Semantic Layer Design and Implementation :Design and build semantic layers in AtScale to enable unified data access and consistent reporting across various data end points (PowerBI & Excel).Develop and maintain multidimensional data models, including cubes, dimensions, and measures, to support business intelligence and analytics needs.Data Modeling :Consolidate & enhance existing data models where appropriate to minimize duplicate logic proliferationDevelop and optimize data models to ensure efficient and scalable data access and query performance.Collaboration and Support :Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business users to understand their requirements and translate them into effective semantic models.Provide support and training to end-users on leveraging the semantic layer for reporting and analysis.Performance Optimization :Monitor and optimize the performance of semantic models to ensure quick and reliable data access.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data modeling, performance, and user access.Documentation and Governance :Document semantic layer designs, data models, and configurations to ensure clarity and maintainability.Continuous Improvement :Stay updated on the latest features and best practices in AtScale and related technologies.Propose and implement enhancements to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the semantic layer..
