An established regional legal platform with a strong insurance focus is seeking an insurance coverage attorney to join its Glendale-based team. This role suits an experienced coverage lawyer who wants meaningful ownership of complex commercial insurance issues within a defense-skewed practice and the stability of a structured in-office 3 days/week environment. Collaborative attorney team structure supports handling sophisticated coverage questions with shared institutional knowledge. THE ROLE Draft detailed insurance coverage opinions. Interpret and analyze complex policy language. Manage disputes over policy coverage. Support coverage litigation as needed. Assess complex commercial insurance products. REQUIREMENTS Minimum 3 years of insurance coverage experience. Preferably 5+ years handling coverage matters. Active California Bar admission. Exceptional analytical abilities for coverage scenarios. Preferred: Experience in coverage litigation. SALARY AND BENEFITS Base salary between $120,000 and $160,000. Glendale-based role with in-office 3 days/week. Defense and plaintiff mix approximately 90/10. Work allocation approximately 60/40 litigation to transactional. Role suitable for candidates within 60 travel minutes.
