• *Job Title: AutoCAD Drafter Needed to Recreate Site Plan from Scanned PDF** We are a civil engineering firm seeking an experienced AutoCAD drafter to recreate a site layout plan from a scanned PDF image. The completed drawing must be accurately scaled, fully editable, and organized for continued use in AutoCAD.
- *Scope of Work**
- Recreate the site plan using native AutoCAD linework, polylines, text, dimensions, and other appropriate objects. - Accurately reproduce the features shown, including property lines, building footprints, parking areas, driveways, sidewalks, and other site improvements. - Establish the drawing scale using dimensions or reference measurements provided. - Organize drawing elements into clearly named, logical layers. - Identify unclear dimensions or illegible information for clarification rather than making unsupported assumptions.
- *Deliverables**
- A clean, fully editable AutoCAD DWG file. - A PDF plot of the recreated drawing for comparison with the original scan. - Incorporation of corrections identified during our review. The PDF must be redrawn as usable CAD geometry; simply attaching the scanned image to a DWG will not satisfy the scope.
- *Required Qualifications**
- Proficiency in AutoCAD. - Previous experience drafting civil engineering site layout plans. - Experience recreating CAD drawings from scanned plans. - Strong attention to scale, dimensions, and drafting accuracy.
