Its programs are designed to help institutions strengthen resilience, improve performance, and maintain customer trust. Role Description The Banking Cybersecurity Presenter is a remote, contract role responsible for delivering engaging, expert-level training on cybersecurity topics relevant to banks and other financial institutions. Day-to-day activities include developing presentation materials, updating content to reflect current threats, regulations, and best practices, and conducting live or virtual training sessions for boards, executives, and front-line staff. The Presenter will tailor sessions to different audiences, provide practical guidance on cyber risk management, and respond to participant questions and real-world scenarios. The role also involves collaborating with Institute staff to align content with broader educational objectives, collecting feedback to improve future sessions, and maintaining an up-to-date understanding of cybersecurity trends impacting the banking sector.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of banking cybersecurity, including threat landscapes, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Experience designing and delivering professional training, workshops, or presentations to technical and non-technical audiences. Excellent verbal communication, public speaking, and storytelling abilities, with skill in simplifying complex technical concepts. Ability to create clear, structured presentation materials (slides, handouts, case studies) and adapt content for remote delivery. Familiarity with banking operations, risk management, compliance, and privacy considerations related to cybersecurity. Comfort using virtual meeting platforms and learning technologies to conduct live online sessions. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC) or equivalent experience in cybersecurity or information security. Bachelor’s degree in information security, information technology, computer science, business, or a related field, or comparable professional experience. Demonstrated ability to work independently on a contract basis, manage schedules, and meet agreed-upon delivery timelines.
