100% Remote | Florida residents only | Full time A well-established consumer bankruptcy practice in Florida is growing its paralegal team and hiring several people at once. The work is busy and steady, and you’ll run each case yourself, from preparation through filing, from home. A dedicated team collects and organizes client documents before any file reaches you, so you start with a file that’s ready to work. There’s no chasing clients for paperwork. What you’ll do Prepare schedules, statements of financial affairs, means tests and amendments for Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases File your own cases with the bankruptcy court Work through a steady, high volume flow of consumer files, with a focus on accuracy and keeping cases moving Work directly with attorneys to resolve questions and get every file filed correctly What we’re looking for - FLORIDA RESIDENTS ONLY Experience preparing and filing both Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 consumer bankruptcy cases Comfort filing through CM/ECF and working independently in a remote setting Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to stay accurate at a fast pace Florida residency Spanish, Portuguese or Creole is a plus
