About the Role
The client is seeking a Business Analyst V to support financial modeling, stakeholder collaboration, product management, and process automation. The role involves reviewing business systems and user requirements, translating business needs into detailed functional specifications, and developing solutions aligned with broader business strategies. The successful candidate will combine financial modeling expertise with strong stakeholder management and product management experience. This position also requires analytical thinking, sound judgment, ownership, and a long-term approach to improving workflows and automating processes.
Key Responsibilities
Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user requirements. Develop and document detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and requirements for developing or modifying computer programs. Support financial modeling activities and related business analysis. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, coordinate planning, and align deliverables with business objectives. Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve workflow efficiency. Apply product management experience to support planning and execution. Take ownership of assigned work, investigate issues thoroughly, and maintain high standards of quality. Provide leadership and direction to others as needed. Track performance through work quality, stakeholder feedback, and agreed metrics.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or area of specialization. Four or more years of relevant professional experience; the general role description references 6–8 years of experience in the field or a related area. Experience in financial modeling. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Product management experience. Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed functional specifications. Sound judgment, problem-solving skills, and the ability to plan and execute work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working with the client organization. Experience combining financial modeling with technology. Proficiency in Excel. A long-term mindset toward process improvement and automation. Compensation
