Business Audit Intern

Position Summary: This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting, financia reporting, and data analysis. The broad business perspective you gain in the company’ Assurance practice will serve as a launch pad to your career, whether you stay at the compan to partner or seek a role in the C-suite. Along the way, you’ll develop a deep understandingf the inner workings of business and draw on your accounting knowledge to help solve comp lx challenges. The internship takes place in Winter 20 Position Responsibili t is: ● Identify potential audit issues or unusual relationships in financial state men ts ith detailed analytical trend an alyis. ● Demonstrate professionalism while working in clients’ environments and p rovding excepti onal serice. ● Operate effectively in a regulated environment, with a focus on protecting t he cpital markets and the in vest ing pblic. ● Develop and maintain relationships with the company's clients to provi d e defnitive auditing services that the capital markets and the clie nt c an rel upon. ● Share the story of value-added insights discovered through data an a lysis ith the com pany's l ients.Q ualifcations: ● A predicted undergraduate or graduate degree in Ac counting, su pported b a strong academic record, A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) is requird, with a preference for candidates with a cumulative GP A of 3.2 r higher. ● Meet the minimal educational requirements for CPA licensure i n the stat your base office is located prior to beginning full-time employment and hav e a demonsrable plan for passing th CPA exam. ● Excellent English languag e communicaion skills. ● An interest in working with the company's team-led and lea der-enabled ybrid model. The company's expectation is for most people in external, cli ent serving oles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course o f an engagemet, prject or year. ● The ability and willingness to travel and work in e xcess of stanard hours when necessary. In certain circumstances, travel may be r equi red beyond you work location based on client andproject needs. ● Access to reliable transportation to/from the company offi c e and client stes. A driver’s license is strongly recommended as ride share and pu blic transportationoptions may not be available i all locations. ● Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U . Compensation
