C++ Software Engineer

Description Information Security Corporation, a SAIC company is seeking an experienced C++ Software Develope r to help build state-of-the-art security software. The successful candidate will have at least two years of professional C++ development experience and strong Linux and Windows development skills. The position is remote and reports to the Director of Software Development in Oak Park, Illinois. Job Responsibilities: - Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications in C++. - Participate in requirements analysis, software design, code reviews, and product reviews. - Collaborate closely with QA to deliver reliable, high-quality software. - Troubleshoot and resolve software defects. - Contribute to product architecture and technical design discussions. Qualifications - Bachelors and two (2) years or more experience; Masters and 0 years related experience - At least two years of professional C++ software development experience. - At least two years of Linux and Windows software development experience. - Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - U.S. citizenship and the ability to successfully complete a background check are required. - Active Top Secret Clearance. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with one or more of the following is a plus: - Qt framework and related development tools - Linux and/or Windows internals - Cryptography or Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) - Java
