Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Mathematiklehrer (Mathematics Teacher). The Mathematics Teacher will plan and deliver online math lessons, design engaging learning activities, and adapt instruction to diverse learner needs and levels. Daily tasks include preparing lesson plans, developing and refining curriculum materials, assessing student performance, and providing constructive feedback to support progress. The role also involves collaborating with colleagues on educational initiatives, integrating digital tools into teaching, and maintaining clear communication with learners and, where applicable, guardians. The teacher is expected to uphold Zora’s standards for inclusive, equitable, and high-quality education.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong subject-matter expertise in Mathematics and Mathematics Education. Candidates should possess skills in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development for different levels of learners. Candidates should be a Qualified Teacher with recognized teaching credentials or equivalent experience in mathematics instruction. Candidates should possess effective online teaching skills, including proficiency with digital learning platforms and tools. Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to inclusive, student-centered teaching. Relevant teaching experience in mathematics, preferably in remote or blended learning environments, is highly beneficial. A degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field is preferred.
