The CFO will play a central role in supporting business growth, financial stability, and strategic investment decisions within the renewable energy and solar infrastructure sectors. Working closely with executive leadership, the CFO will oversee financial planning, accounting, treasury, financial risk management, project financing, and financial governance while supporting business development and potential international expansion initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong financial leadership with experience in renewable energy, infrastructure investment, project finance, corporate finance, or international business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute the company's overall financial strategy and long-term financial plan. Lead corporate finance, financial planning and analysis, treasury, accounting oversight, and financial reporting. Oversee annual budgets, financial forecasts, cash-flow projections, and financial performance analysis. Develop capital allocation strategies supporting business growth, operational investments, and strategic projects. Evaluate financing structures for renewable energy and solar infrastructure projects. Lead relationships with banks, institutional investors, lenders, and strategic financial partners. Support project financing, debt financing, equity financing, and capital-raising initiatives. Oversee liquidity management, working capital, cash-flow planning, and treasury operations. Establish and maintain financial controls, governance policies, and risk-management frameworks. Ensure financial reporting processes comply with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Evaluate investment opportunities, project economics, financial returns, and potential business acquisitions. Partner with operations and project development teams to monitor project budgets, capital expenditures, and financial performance. Support financial planning and risk assessments for cross-border business activities. Develop financial models, scenario analyses, and performance dashboards to support executive decision-making. Oversee financial due diligence related to partnerships, investments, financing, and strategic transactions. Identify financial risks associated with interest rates, currency exposure, liquidity, and project execution. Collaborate with legal, compliance, tax, operations, and business development teams on financial matters. Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance organization. Present financial results, forecasts, investment recommendations, and strategic financial insights to executive leadership. Qualifications12+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance, financial management, investment banking, project finance, accounting, treasury, or related disciplines. Significant executive leadership experience as a Chief Financial Officer, VP of Finance, Finance Director, or comparable senior financial executive. Strong expertise in financial strategy, capital planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. Experience within renewable energy, solar energy, infrastructure, utilities, energy investment, or project-based businesses is highly valued. Demonstrated experience managing financing transactions, capital structures, and institutional financial relationships. Strong understanding of project finance, investment evaluation, financial risk management, and corporate treasury. Experience with international operations, cross-border financing, or multinational financial reporting is preferred. Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, or other applicable financial reporting standards. Experience overseeing financial controls, external audits, and financial governance. Strong analytical judgment, commercial awareness, negotiation skills, and executive leadership capabilities. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related discipline. MBA, CPA, CFA, or another relevant professional qualification is preferred.
