Chief Financial Officer

Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the organization. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading financial planning and budgeting, managing cash flow, and overseeing the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports. The CFO will provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team, support long-term business planning, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. This role also involves developing and maintaining internal controls, optimizing financial systems and processes, and partnering with other departments to evaluate investments, manage risk, and monitor performance. The CFO will lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Finance, including experience with Financial Planning and long-term budgeting. Proficiency in preparing and interpreting Financial Statements and Financial Reporting. Demonstrated Analytical Skills for modeling, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making. Experience in leading finance teams and managing cross-functional stakeholder relationships. Knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance requirements. Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, with strong communication and collaboration skills. Advanced proficiency in financial software, spreadsheets, and reporting tools. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred.
