Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and long-term financial planning. The CFO will lead the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery to executive leadership and key stakeholders. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing financial strategies, monitoring performance against targets, managing internal controls, and optimizing capital structure and resource allocation. The CFO will collaborate with other senior leaders on business planning, risk assessment, and investment decisions, and will provide clear, actionable insights to support organizational growth. This role also includes managing finance team members, coordinating audits and regulatory filings, and implementing systems and processes that improve financial efficiency and visibility.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in Finance, Financial Planning, and Financial Reporting, with the ability to design and execute long-term financial strategies. Proficiency in preparing, interpreting, and reviewing Financial Statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. Advanced Analytical Skills for modeling, scenario analysis, performance measurement, and data-driven decision-making. Demonstrated experience leading finance teams, managing budgets, and overseeing audits and internal controls. Proven track record in a senior finance role (CFO, VP Finance, or equivalent), preferably in a complex or growth-oriented organization. Solid understanding of corporate governance, risk management, taxation, and regulatory compliance. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or other relevant certification is strongly preferred. Comfort working in a remote environment, with strong self-management, collaboration, and digital tool proficiency.
