Role Description The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading Alfa Capital Management’s overall information technology vision, strategy, and execution. The CIO will oversee IT operations, infrastructure, applications, and cybersecurity to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable systems that support investment, advisory, and client service functions. This role involves developing and implementing IT strategies aligned with business goals, optimizing business processes through technology, and driving digital transformation initiatives across the organization. The CIO will collaborate with executive leadership to evaluate and prioritize technology investments, manage vendor relationships, and ensure regulatory and data security compliance. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading IT teams, setting performance standards, monitoring system performance and risk, and continuously assessing emerging technologies to enhance operational efficiency and client experience.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Information Technology and IT Operations, with experience overseeing infrastructure, applications, security, and support services. Demonstrated expertise in IT Management and IT Strategy, including leadership of technology roadmaps and alignment of IT initiatives with business objectives. Proficiency in Business Process analysis and optimization, using technology to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency. Proven leadership experience in a senior technology role within financial services, asset management, or a related regulated industry. Knowledge of cybersecurity, data governance, and regulatory requirements relevant to capital management and financial markets. Ability to lead remote teams, manage cross-functional stakeholders, and communicate complex technical concepts in clear business terms. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CIO, ITIL, CISSP, PMP) are beneficial.
