The ideal candidate will bring extensive executive leadership experience, strong strategic thinking, and a proven ability to identify emerging opportunities, develop innovative solutions, and drive business performance.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement company-wide innovation strategies aligned with business objectives. Identify emerging technologies, market trends, and new business opportunities. Lead innovation programs, digital transformation, and organizational improvement initiatives. Evaluate new products, technologies, and business models for potential commercial value. Collaborate with executive leadership, technology, product, finance, and operations teams. Establish innovation priorities, project objectives, and performance metrics. Develop strategic partnerships with technology providers, research organizations, and industry leaders. Oversee innovation budgets, resource allocation, and project development. Promote a culture of creativity, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. Assess innovation-related risks and recommend practical business solutions. Recruit, mentor, and lead high-performing innovation and strategy teams. Provide executive leadership with innovation performance reports and strategic recommendations. Background and ExperienceAt least 15 years of experience in innovation management, business strategy, technology leadership, or related fields. Previous senior leadership experience as a Chief Innovation Officer, Chief Technology Officer, Vice President of Innovation, or comparable executive. Proven experience developing innovation strategies and leading business transformation initiatives. Strong knowledge of emerging technologies, digital transformation, product innovation, and strategic planning. Experience managing complex projects, cross-functional teams, and organizational change. Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and strategic decision-making skills. Ability to manage geographically distributed teams in a remote environment. Experience within technology, financial services, or other innovation-driven industries is preferred. A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, Management, or a related field is required. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.
