Through robust API integration, institutions can embed custody and governance tools directly into their own interfaces, supported by a Payment Policy Engine that enables granular control over transaction approvals. Role Description The Chief Product Officer (CPO) is a full-time, remote role responsible for defining and driving Rox Custody’s product vision, strategy, and roadmap across all custody, wallet, and governance solutions. In this role, the CPO will lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from discovery and requirements gathering to launch and iteration, ensuring alignment with customer needs, regulatory considerations, and business goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating closely with engineering, design, sales, and compliance teams; prioritizing features; overseeing product delivery; and maintaining a high standard of usability and reliability. The CPO will analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive offerings to identify opportunities, refine existing products, and guide the development of new capabilities. The role also involves building and mentoring a high-performing product organization and establishing metrics to measure product performance and impact.

Qualifications

Demonstrated expertise in Product Strategy and Product Management, including defining product vision, building roadmaps, and managing the full product lifecycle. Strong Project Management skills to oversee complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives and deliver products on time and within scope. Proven Team Leadership and Cross-functional Team Leadership experience, with the ability to align product, engineering, design, sales, and operations around shared goals. Deep understanding of digital asset custody, blockchain technologies, or fintech platforms, with experience in B2B or institutional products strongly preferred. Ability to use data-driven decision-making, including setting KPIs, interpreting analytics, and integrating customer feedback into product improvements. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaborative skills in a remote, distributed work environment. Experience building and scaling product organizations, including hiring, mentoring, and developing product talent. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
