Role Description The Chief Product Officer (CPO) is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading the overall product vision, strategy, and execution across the firm’s portfolio and internal initiatives. This role oversees end-to-end product management, from market discovery and opportunity assessment to roadmap development, prioritization, and delivery. The CPO collaborates closely with investment, operations, and leadership teams to align product strategies with business objectives and value creation plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding product managers, setting performance metrics, reviewing product pipelines, and ensuring effective coordination with engineering, marketing, sales, and customer success teams. The CPO also mentors product leaders, introduces best practices, and drives a culture of data-driven decision-making, innovation, and customer-centricity.

Qualifications

Strong product strategy and product management skills, with a track record of defining vision, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes. Experience in project management, including planning, prioritization, resource allocation, and risk management. Demonstrated team leadership and cross-functional team leadership skills, guiding diverse stakeholders toward shared goals. Background in technology-driven businesses or product-centric organizations; private equity or investment environment experience is a plus. Ability to analyze market trends, customer insights, and financial data to inform product decisions and value creation initiatives. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at executive and board levels. Proven experience leading remote or distributed teams and working effectively in a virtual environment. Advanced degree in business, engineering, product management, or related field preferred; equivalent practical experience considered.
