Cloud Operations Director

Leading the strategic direction for cloud and infrastructure services, the full-time remote Cloud Operations Director will manage the design, implementation, and operational oversight of enterprise cloud platforms, ensuring high availability, security, and cost-effectiveness while driving cloud adoption and infrastructure modernization. Key responsibilities Defines cloud strategy and oversees the design and optimization of cloud services to ensure scalability and security Owns the cloud operating model, including service catalog management, SLAs/SLOs, and governance across teams Leads the development of cloud roadmaps and investment plans, focusing on modernization and technical debt reduction Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience Minimum of 10 years of experience in leadership roles managing engineering teams 5+ years of experience in microservices cloud architecture and design, including Kubernetes workloads Proven experience with public cloud platforms, preferably AWS and Azure, and large-scale cloud migrations Hands-on experience with coding/scripting languages and CI/CD tools Experience: 10 years required
