Compliance Officer (BSA/AML/KYC) | Remote, Full-Time | U.S. Money Transmitter
A U.S.-based licensed money transmitter is seeking a full-time Compliance Officer to lead and strengthen our BSA/AML/KYC program. We serve customers across the US and internationally, with team members in the United States and Asia. We are a profitable, growing fintech company committed to the highest standards of regulatory compliance. With over 5 years of operations and founders with deep banking experience, we have built a strong compliance foundation and team. This is a fully remote, full-time role for an experienced compliance professional who wants to expand their expertise into payments and fintech. You will work closely with our compliance team in Asia and report to senior leadership in the US. What You’ll Do Lead the company’s BSA/AML/KYC compliance program Oversee transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and suspicious activity reporting Ensure ongoing compliance with FinCEN, state money transmitter requirements, and partner bank expectations Partner with product, risk, and operations teams to build compliance into new initiatives Support regulatory exams, audits, and partner due diligence Drive continuous improvement in compliance systems, controls, and policies What We’re Looking For Experience serving as a designated Compliance Officer or BSA/AML Officer (required) Experience at a community bank, regional bank, credit union, or money transmitter Strong working knowledge of the BSA, FinCEN requirements, and OFAC sanctions compliance Experience supporting regulatory exams and independent audits Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote, growing organization
What We Offer
Fully remote, anywhere in the US Base salary: $65,000–$95,000, depending on experience Exposure to multi-state money transmitter regulation, which is rare and valuable experience A leadership role with real ownership of the compliance program Please apply only if the posted salary range meets your expectations.
