Contract Role: Commercial Legal Counsel (US, Remote) We’re working with a global energy and commodities information business on a temporary legal counsel role. You’ll join their Americas legal team, reporting to the Head of Legal for the Americas, and support a fast-growing commercial business. Location: United States only. What you’ll do Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, including master subscription and licence agreements, SOWs, NDAs and DPAs Review vendor forms and handle requests from the Client Services team Give practical advice to sales and business teams on IP, data rights, privacy and information security Apply contract templates and playbooks to protect IP and confidential information Support due diligence requests from time to time What we’re looking for JD from an accredited US law school, with active bar admission in at least one US state 5+ years of commercial contracts experience at a law firm and/or in-house Able to draft and negotiate independently and manage competing priorities Bonus: information services, data licensing, commodities or tech experience, and familiarity with data, AI, privacy and infosec contract issues Details Temporary contract, fully remote, open to candidates anywhere in the US Start: ASAP Interested, or know someone who’d be a fit?
