Aid Arena is a free, professional collaboration space where 900+ members from 530+ organizations coordinate disaster and humanitarian response. When an emergency manager or aid organization clicks one of our ads, the page they land on decides whether they join. We're looking for a volunteer CRO Specialist who designs for what the visitor does next: clear pages, simple forms, and ad creative built to convert, not just to be noticed. ROLE SUMMARY You'll own the ad creative and the landing pages our Google Ad Grant campaigns send traffic to, including the join flow into Aid Arena. With full WordPress admin access, you'll build and improve pages directly, design in Canva to our brand and messaging framework, run simple A/B tests with our Paid Media Specialist, and fix the small things that quietly kill conversion. You'll work alongside our graphic design and creative content volunteers so ads and pages share one look and one message. This role is half of a deliberate pair: paid media sends the traffic, and you make the page it lands on worth the click. WHAT YOU WILL DO Design ad creative (static and short motion) in Canva that follows our brand and messaging framework, built for conversion, not just attention Own the landing pages the ads send to: layout, hierarchy, forms, and the join flow into Aid Arena Build and update pages directly in WordPress (full admin access provided) Run simple A/B tests with our Paid Media Specialist and keep the one that wins Fix the small things that kill conversion: page speed, a form that asks too much, a button nobody sees, a counter rendering zero Work with our graphic design and creative content volunteers so ads and pages share one look and one message Hand off clean files and a short note on what changed and why YOU ARE A FIT IF YOU HAVE Designed for a measurable outcome before (a sign-up, a lead, a sale) The ability to explain a design choice in terms of what the visitor does next Hands-on WordPress experience (pages, forms, plugins) Comfort in Canva and basic web page tools 3 to 5 hours a week for at least three months NICE TO HAVE Experience with A/B testing tools Nonprofit or emergency management experience (a plus, not a requirement) WHAT YOU GET A real conversion problem with a mission attached, a portfolio piece with results you can quote, a LinkedIn-ready title, and a reference from our Marketing Officer. Tools: WordPress, Canva, Airtable, MailChimp, Givebutter, and Slack (access provided).
