Databricks Architect Healthcare

Job Title: Databricks Architect Location: Remote Duration: Long Term Contract Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Databricks Architect with a strong Healthcare industry background to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale data platforms and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Databricks Lakehouse Architecture, cloud-based data platforms, large-scale data engineering, and healthcare data ecosystems. This role will be responsible for defining data architecture, optimizing data pipelines, and enabling advanced analytics across healthcare organizations. Required Qualifications 10+ years of overall experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Big Data technologies. 5+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks Architecture and Development. Mandatory experience within the Healthcare Industry (Payer, Provider, Health Systems, Hospitals, or Healthcare Services). Strong experience designing and implementing Databricks Lakehouse Architectures. Expertise in Azure Databricks, AWS Databricks, or Google Cloud Platform Databricks environments. Strong experience with Spark, PySpark, SQL, Delta Lake, and Data Lake technologies. Experience building enterprise-scale ETL/ELT pipelines. Strong understanding of healthcare data models and healthcare analytics. Experience with Data Governance, Security, Data Quality, and Compliance requirements. Experience implementing scalable cloud-based data platforms. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
