Design Engineer (Xpedition/Mentor Graphics)
About the Job ITMC Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced ECAD Engineer specializing in PCB/PWB layout design using Siemens Xpedition, formerly known as Mentor Graphics. The role focuses on designing printed circuit board layouts for analog, digital, and mixed-signal applications, as well as supporting schematic entry and fabrication package generation. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in electronic design automation (ECAD), strong PCB layout design skills, and proficiency with Siemens Xpedition tools. This is a remote opportunity open to U.S. citizens.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop printed circuit board (PCB) and printed wiring board (PWB) layouts using Siemens Xpedition ECAD tools. Create and modify layouts for analog, digital, and mixed-signal electronic circuits. Perform schematic entry and translate circuit requirements into accurate PCB/PWB layouts. Generate fabrication packages and supporting documentation for board manufacturing. Ensure layout designs meet project specifications and applicable design requirements. Use ECAD tools to support the development and refinement of electronic board designs. Collaborate with relevant engineering teams to support design requirements and resolve layout-related issues. Qualifications 8–12 years of experience in PCB/PWB layout design. Strong expertise in Mentor Graphics/Siemens Xpedition ECAD tools. Experience designing layouts for analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits. Practical experience with schematic entry, PCB/PWB layout design, and fabrication package generation. Strong attention to detail and the ability to translate engineering requirements into accurate board layouts. Experience with Cadence design tools is an added advantage.
