DevOps Engineer II - Remote Opportunity
About the Company
Bluprynt is building compliance infrastructure for digital assets, connecting off-chain compliance requirements with on-chain identity, policy, and supervisory visibility. Its platform helps issuers, banks, and other market participants meet regulatory expectations while supporting the flexibility of blockchain-based systems. The company completed the EUβs first MiCA pilot, launched Know Your Issuer (KYI) with Paxos and Circle, partnered with Chainlink on automated on-chain compliance enforcement, and closed an oversubscribed $4.25 million seed funding round in 2026.
About the Role
Bluprynt is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own its cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and data infrastructure. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you will work as a senior member of a small engineering team, taking end-to-end responsibility for platform reliability, security, scalability, and development workflows. A major focus of the role is integrating AI coding agents into everyday engineering practices. You will build automated development workflows, establish review guardrails, and improve testing and deployment processes so the team can deliver software quickly without compromising quality or visibility. You will also lead the transition from the existing infrastructure toward a unified monorepo and deployment pipeline, while maintaining reliable blockchain data integrations.
Key Responsibilities
Own AWS cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes using infrastructure as code. Lead the transition to a unified monorepo and pipeline with branch protection, required reviews, and automated checks for every merge. Build AI agent-driven development workflows for continuous integration, automated code review, test generation, and environment setup. Establish guardrails and review processes that support effective, reliable use of AI coding agents. Maintain reliable blockchain data integrations, including RPC providers, failover mechanisms, rate limits, and indexing. Improve developer onboarding so new engineers can become productive quickly. Implement observability, alerting, incident response processes, and practical infrastructure cost controls. Own infrastructure security, secrets management, access controls, and infrastructure hardening. Work directly with customers and internal teams to deploy, troubleshoot, and adapt the platform in real-world environments. Review pull requests across the codebase and maintain standards for code quality, testing, documentation, and technical context. Build and operate reliable data infrastructure covering ingestion, streaming, data warehouses, and ETL orchestration. Contribute to platform architecture, infrastructure modernization, and continuous improvement across the engineering organization.
Required Qualifications
At least 8 years of experience in DevOps, site reliability engineering (SRE), or infrastructure engineering, with ownership of production systems. Strong hands-on AWS experience, including EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, VPC networking, IAM, and cost management. Demonstrated experience using AI coding agents in production engineering workflows, including the development of appropriate guardrails and review processes. Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK, or equivalent. Experience building and operating data infrastructure for high-volume ingestion, streaming, warehouses, and ETL orchestration. Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes or ECS. Strong CI/CD design experience, ideally supporting a monorepo. Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, or OpenTelemetry. Coding proficiency in at least one of TypeScript, Go, Rust, or Python. Experience in an early-stage startup or a comparable role requiring substantial technical ownership. Strong attention to detail, sound engineering judgment, initiative, and leadership. Excellent English communication skills and the ability to work core Eastern Time (EST) hours.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with blockchain RPC infrastructure, including nodes, node providers, failover, archive data, and chain reorganizations. Familiarity with Ethereum/EVM chains or Solana. Experience with blockchain indexers and data pipelines, including The Graph, Substreams, or custom indexers. Forward-deployed engineering or other customer-facing technical experience. Experience with security and compliance initiatives such as SOC 2, key management, or audits. Technology Stack TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS ECS/EKS, and infrastructure as code. Heroku, with a migration underway. Blockchain integrations including Solana SAS, EAS, Base, Plume, Sepolia, Aptos, Avalanche, and Stellar. A unified monorepo and deployment pipeline with mandatory code reviews and automated checks. Location and Work Arrangement Remote position. Core Eastern Time (EST) working hours are required. Full-time employment. Reports to the Chief Product Officer.
Compensation and Benefits
Competitive salary based on experience, discussed during the initial screening process. Equity opportunity at an early stage of the company. Significant autonomy to shape the engineering platform, technical standards, and team culture.
