DevOps Engineer (US Remote)

For our client, we are seeking a DevOps Engineer (US Remote) to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space. This role will drive the modernization and integration of build, release, and deployment practices across a complex, distributed technology environment. You will work closely with engineering, IT, cybersecurity, and integration partners to improve automation, strengthen governance, and support smooth transitions across platforms and teams. The position will also play a key part in shaping target architectures and onboarding acquired groups into standardized delivery processes. Location: Remote Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 annually

Responsibilities

Lead the migration and integration of source control management and CI/CD pipelines across diverse platforms Maintain and unify build, test, and deployment infrastructure across cloud environments Partner with M&A integration leads and engineering teams to assess and recommend target architectures Design, build, and maintain automation scripts to minimize manual operational overhead Champion DevSecOps best practices and participate in global IT and cybersecurity initiatives Create comprehensive technical documentation and self-service guidelines for onboarding acquired teams Qualifications 4+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or build/release automation Strong practical background with enterprise CI/CD systems, including Jenkins and GitHub/GitHub Actions Practical experience building and supporting deployments across major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) Foundational scripting and programming capability (e.g., Python, Bash, Shell) and experience with RESTful APIs Deep familiarity with Git workflows, repository management, and code governance models Understanding of source code security principles and DevSecOps tooling Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams
