Director, Medicare Advantage Strategy

Job Description:

Serve as Twin's subject matter expert on Medicare Advantage
Develop an evolving understanding of Medicare Advantage members' health needs, motivations, technology comfort, accessibility needs, care-seeking behaviors, social needs, engagement barriers, and expectations
Advise Product, Design, Clinical, and Operations teams on the Medicare member experience and care model
Partner with the Medicare Advantage Product Lead to shape the end-to-end member journey and product roadmap
Monitor MA market changes, CMS policy, health plan priorities, competitive offerings, emerging care models, and member expectations
Translate market and policy changes into implications for Twin
Partner with Commercial and Product Marketing on health plan priorities, value proposition, customer conversations, positioning, and differentiation
Build and maintain Twin's internal Medicare Advantage knowledge base
Educate teams and leadership on the Medicare Advantage ecosystem, population, terminology, incentives, and trends
Establish relationships with external experts, health plans, industry organizations, and stakeholders
Represent Twin externally through customer conversations, panels, conferences, webinars, and other forums
Identify new Medicare Advantage opportunities involving populations, partnerships, capabilities, and care models
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

10+ years of experience in Medicare Advantage, Medicare, managed care, or closely related healthcare roles, with significant direct exposure to MA
Deep understanding of the Medicare population and the practical realities of engaging and caring for older adults and other Medicare beneficiaries
Strong understanding of how Medicare Advantage plans operate, make decisions, measure performance, and evaluate partners and solutions
Working expertise across Stars, CAHPS/member experience, clinical programs, care management, supplemental benefits, risk adjustment, health equity, retention, and regulatory requirements
Comfortable helping design improved Medicare experiences
Strong communication skills and executive presence
Experience presenting to executive audiences
