Director of Business Development

Role Description This full-time remote Director of Business Development role is responsible for driving growth and expanding our presence within hospital systems and healthcare networks. The Director will identify and pursue new business opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and develop long-term relationships with key decision-makers across the medical supply chain. Daily activities include creating and executing business plans, overseeing lead generation efforts, managing sales pipelines, and negotiating contracts that align with company objectives and customer needs. The role also includes collaborating with internal teams on pricing, product positioning, and solution development, while monitoring market trends and competitive activity. This position requires proactive communication, structured reporting on performance metrics, and continual refinement of business development strategies to support sustainable growth.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong skills in New Business Development and Lead Generation to identify opportunities and build a robust pipeline. Candidates should possess business-focused skills in Business Planning and Account Management to develop strategic plans and maintain long-term client relationships. Candidates should possess expertise in Contract Negotiation to structure agreements that meet both client and organizational requirements. Experience in healthcare, medical devices, or PPE manufacturing is highly beneficial. Demonstrated success in director-level or senior business development roles, preferably in a B2B environment. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with strong organizational and time-management capabilities. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
