Director of Business Projects

Role Description The Director of Business Projects is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing and driving key strategic initiatives across the agency. This role leads cross-functional projects that align with business goals, optimizing processes, resources, and timelines to deliver measurable impact on revenue and client outcomes. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and prioritizing projects, coordinating with marketing, sales, finance, and operations teams, and tracking performance against defined KPIs. The Director will manage project budgets, identify risks, resolve roadblocks, and provide clear communication and reporting to senior leadership. This position also involves mentoring project teams, improving workflows, and continuously identifying opportunities for growth and efficiency within the organization.

Qualifications

Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication. Analytical skills to interpret data, evaluate performance, and make evidence-based decisions that support business goals. Team leadership experience, with the ability to motivate, align, and develop cross-functional project teams. Solid understanding of finance and budgeting to manage project costs, forecasts, and ROI assessments. Sales acumen to collaborate with sales teams on pipeline growth, revenue targets, and client retention strategies. Experience in digital marketing, agency operations, or related fields is highly beneficial. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Finance, or a related discipline; advanced degree is a plus. Proven track record in leading high-impact business projects, preferably in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. Comfort working remotely, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
