Director of Business Valuation

Role Description The Director of Business Valuation is a full-time remote role responsible for leading valuation initiatives across the company’s investment, manufacturing, logistics, and trading activities. This role oversees the development of valuation models, financial analyses, and scenario assessments to support acquisitions, divestitures, strategic partnerships, and internal planning. The director collaborates with executive leadership, finance, and operational teams to interpret business performance, assess risk, and provide clear, actionable valuation insights. Daily responsibilities include reviewing financial statements, managing valuation projects, guiding junior team members, preparing presentations and reports for senior stakeholders, and ensuring methodologies align with industry standards and regulatory requirements. The role also contributes to strategic business planning, supports commercial negotiations, and helps refine frameworks for measuring value creation across the portfolio.

Qualifications

Strong Analytical Skills with demonstrated experience in financial modeling, business valuation methodologies, and data interpretation. Proficiency in Business Planning, including forecasting, budgeting, scenario analysis, and strategic decision support. Proven Team Management and Team Leadership capabilities, with experience guiding cross-functional valuation or finance teams. Sales and commercial acumen, with the ability to support deal structuring, pricing decisions, and value-based negotiations. Advanced knowledge of corporate finance, investment analysis, and market assessment in sectors such as manufacturing, logistics, or trading. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex valuation outcomes to non-technical stakeholders. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple remote projects and deadlines simultaneously. Experience working in or advising diversified, multi-business organizations and comfort operating in a remote, digital-first environment.
