Role Description The Director of Project Management is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of real estate projects across the organization. This role leads project and program teams, defines project scopes and timelines, and ensures alignment with strategic business objectives. The Director manages budgets, monitors financial performance, and mitigates risks to keep projects on schedule and within approved costs. Daily activities include coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, refining project management methodologies, implementing process improvements, and reporting on progress and outcomes to senior leadership. The role also involves mentoring project managers, establishing best practices, and promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Strong Program Management and Project Management skills to plan, coordinate, and deliver complex, multi-phase initiatives. Proficiency in Budgeting and financial oversight to manage costs, forecasts, and resource allocation effectively. Demonstrated Team Leadership capabilities, including coaching project teams, driving performance, and fostering collaboration. Experience with Process Improvement to streamline workflows, introduce best practices, and enhance project efficiency. Extensive experience in project or program leadership roles, preferably within real estate, construction, or related industries. Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., PMP or equivalent certification is highly beneficial). Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a remote environment. Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, real estate, or a related field; a master’s degree or MBA is an advantage.
