Director of Project Partnerships
Company Description
Bankable Limited is building Africa’s first large-scale financial health scoring platform, transforming six months of bank transaction data into an actionable 0–100 score. The company addresses the challenge faced by over 80 million Nigerians who have bank accounts but no formal credit history, making it difficult for lenders to assess their risk. By analyzing savings patterns, income consistency, spending stability, debt signals, and emergency resilience using Open Banking data, Bankable helps consumers understand and improve their financial health. At the same time, it enables lenders to identify creditworthy borrowers they currently overlook. Bankable is launching in 2026 and is headquartered in Abuja, Nigeria, with a mission to expand financial inclusion across Africa. Role Description The Director of Project Partnerships is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading strategic partnerships that drive adoption of Bankable’s financial health scoring platform. This role oversees the end-to-end lifecycle of partnership projects, from identifying prospects and designing partnership frameworks to negotiating agreements and managing ongoing relationships. The Director collaborates closely with product, data, and operations teams to scope joint initiatives, define success metrics, and ensure timely delivery of integrated solutions for banks, fintechs, NGOs, and other ecosystem partners. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining a pipeline of potential partners, presenting Bankable’s value proposition, coordinating internal resources for implementation, and monitoring partner performance and impact. The role also involves refining partnership strategy based on market feedback, supporting sales and business development efforts, and representing Bankable in industry events and stakeholder meetings.
