Role Description The Director of Strategic Planning is a full-time, remote role responsible for guiding CoinFund’s long-term business strategy across its investment and advisory activities. This role develops and maintains multi-year strategic plans, sets measurable objectives, and aligns cross-functional teams on priorities. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing market trends in crypto and broader financial markets, conducting competitor and ecosystem assessments, and identifying growth opportunities and strategic risks. The Director will collaborate with senior leadership on capital allocation decisions, new product and fund initiatives, and organizational design. The role also involves preparing executive-level presentations, monitoring performance against strategic goals, and refining plans based on data-driven insights and evolving market conditions.
Qualifications
Strong strategic planning and business planning skills, with experience designing and executing multi-year strategic roadmaps. Advanced analytical skills and experience using quantitative and qualitative data to inform decisions and measure performance. Demonstrated expertise in market research, including competitive analysis, trend identification, and opportunity sizing. Solid understanding of finance, including financial modeling, forecasting, and evaluating investment or product economics. Proven leadership experience in a strategic, consulting, or corporate development role, ideally within financial services, technology, or crypto/Web3. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex ideas clearly to executive stakeholders and external partners. Comfort working in a remote, distributed environment and collaborating across time zones and functions. Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred. Familiarity with blockchain technology, digital assets, and the broader Web3 ecosystem is highly beneficial.
