Driver Technician

About the Role: MC NON-EMERGENCY TRANSPORTATION LLC is looking for a reliable and compassionate Driver Technician to join our team in Sacramento, CA. If you're a skilled driver with a heart for service, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities: Safely transport passengers to and from residence to schools, day program, and worksites. Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and securing wheelchairs or mobility devices Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records, and documentation Communicate effectively with office managers, fleet manager, schools' directors, staff, and passengers Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and HIPAA privacy guidelines Provide courteous, patient-centered service to individuals with medical or mobility needs Requirements: Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record Prior experience in non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT), patient transport, or a related field preferred CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Ability to operate wheelchair lifts.
