Dynatrace Solutions Architecture
Job Title: Dynatrace Solutions Architecture Location: Remote for resources from Washington DC, Wilmington DE, Atlanta GA and Philadelphia PA (may require occasional onsite visits) Duration: 12+ Months Job Summary Seeking an expert-level Dynatrace Administrator and Solution Architect to support enterprise observability initiatives. The consultant will architect, design, and implement Dynatrace solutions, develop self-service automation tools, and leverage advanced Dynatrace capabilities to improve application performance, monitoring, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Dynatrace architecture, administration, configuration, and enterprise-wide implementation. Design and develop self-service automation tools and leverage advanced Dynatrace features. Define conceptual and solution architectures aligned with enterprise architecture standards and business objectives. Ensure applications and infrastructure follow best practices, scalability, reusability, and performance standards. Collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders to develop future-state architecture and technology roadmaps. Prepare architecture documentation and present solutions to senior leadership and the Enterprise Architecture Review Council. Drive architecture governance, technology modernization, and adoption of improved tools and practices. Provide strategic and hands-on technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle. Required Qualifications 8–15 years of overall IT experience, including 5–7 years of relevant solution architecture experience. Expert-level hands-on experience with Dynatrace administration, architecture, and implementation. Strong experience with Dynatrace automation, advanced features, and enterprise observability solutions. Experience designing enterprise-scale solutions in complex, heterogeneous IT environments. Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, SOA, application architecture, and software design. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Dynatrace Gold-level certification or equivalent expert-level credentials. Experience architecting solutions for large-scale enterprise IT programs. Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and governance. Exposure to IBM Mainframe/TPF, Java/JEE, Microsoft .NET, eCommerce, and networking technologies. Travel or transportation industry experience.
