Engineering Business Manager (California)

Title : Engineering Business Manager Location : Fully REMOTE - Must reside in Southern/Central California , between Los Angeles and Fresno (Los Angeles preferred) Job Type : Permanent/Direct Hire Salary : $115,000 - $130,000 Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field 5-10+ years of experience within engineering pertaining to design, specification's, bidding, technical reports, etc. Experience/Exposure within sales, marketing, or business development within an engineering capacity (or eagerness to dive into this) Ability for 30-50% domestic travel Nice to have : PE License Consulting Sales experience in related industry Day-to-Day : A client of Insight Global's is looking for an Engineering Business Manager to join their Engineering Business Manager team. This individual must live in California (LA Preferred) as they will spearhead this market in business development, marketing, sales, profitability, and overall product development for geotextiles, erosion control, and roadway products. Overall, this individual will be the "face" to engineers, regulatory agencies, distribution customers, the contracting community, and the transportation industry as whole. This individual will work remotely but will be traveling up to a max of 50% travel. A typical day could entail doing promotions for the company, driving business by meeting engineers, conducting lunch presentations, and creating business plans for key influencers.
