  • Compliance & Security – Adhere to all privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA), data governance policies, and brighthush’s internal security protocols.
  • Continuous Learning – Participate in training sessions, workshops, and knowledge‑sharing forums to stay current with industry best practices.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education – High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a 9‑month specialized training program in data entry, clerical work, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Typing Proficiency – Minimum 50 words per minute with no more than 5 errors, demonstrated via a city‑administered typing test or equivalent assessment.
  • Experience – At least two (2) years of high‑volume data entry or clerical experience, preferably in a health or public‑sector environment.
  • Technical Skills – Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic email/web software; familiarity with data management tools is a plus.
  • Attention to Detail – Strong grammatical, spelling, and punctuation skills; ability to spot and correct errors quickly.
  • Communication – Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present findings clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Work Ethic – Self‑motivated, reliable, and capable of managing multiple assignments with competing deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual Proficiency – Fluency in English and Spanish (reading, writing, speaking) to support diverse community outreach.
  • Quality Management Knowledge – Understanding of quality improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) and experience applying them in a data context.
  • Presentation & Facilitation – Ability to lead brief training sessions or workshops on data entry best practices.
  • Advanced Software Skills – Experience with database systems (SQL, Access) or data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) is advantageous.
  • Certifications – Any relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional) will be considered favorably.

Skills & Competencies

  • Analytical Thinking – Ability to interpret data trends and identify patterns that inform quality control.
  • Problem‑Solving – Quick to diagnose issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Team Collaboration – Comfortable working in a virtual environment, leveraging collaboration tools (Teams, Slack, SharePoint).
