About the position BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a dedicated CNA for a recurring evening shift near the Lake Wylie area. While you support clients one-on-one with activities of daily living, we’ll support you with training, flexibility, and a team dedicated to creating a great employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, provide personal care, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
- Provide household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making etc.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
- Assist with range of motion/exercises.
- Assist with ambulation (Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices).
- Provide medication reminders.
- Perform vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration.
Requirements
- At least one year of work experience.
- Successfully completed a recognized CNA training course and be certified to work as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
- A passion for caregiving, providing private home care, and a desire to help others.
- A commitment to being present and providing quality care.
- Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect.
- Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
