EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS Primavolt Energy Infrastructure designs, delivers, and operates utility-scale power infrastructure — gas turbine generation, battery energy storage (BESS), solar PV, and high-voltage transmission & distribution — for hyperscale data centers and large-scale energy users demanding firm, dispatchable power across the U.S. SUMMARY The EVP of Operations is Primavolt's senior project delivery executive, with end-to-end accountability for executing every project in the portfolio — from contract award and mobilization through engineering coordination, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover to the owner or O&M team. This leader owns safety, schedule, cost, quality, and client satisfaction across all gas turbine, BESS, solar PV, high-voltage T&D, and emissions compliance projects, and directly oversees project management, construction, procurement and supply chain, project controls, HSE, QA/QC, and commissioning leadership. This is a hands-on, well-rounded operator role: equally effective in a client steering meeting, a PE sponsor review, a long-lead OEM negotiation, and a site walk. The EVP translates contracted scope into executable plans, builds the delivery systems and teams needed to scale from early projects to a multi-project portfolio, and ensures every project is delivered safely, profitably, and to the standard hyperscale and utility clients expect. Reports to the President & CEO and serves as a core member of the senior executive leadership team. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES Own full-lifecycle project execution across the portfolio — mobilization, engineering coordination, procurement, construction, startup, commissioning, performance testing, and turnover — for EPC, owner's engineer, and construction management engagements Hold full accountability for the operations P&L: margin delivery, cash flow, forecasting, and contingency management, with monthly reporting on cost, schedule, and risk to the President & CEO and board Lead, build, and scale the operations organization — project directors, project and construction managers, superintendents, project controls, procurement, HSE, QA/QC, and commissioning — including organizational design, headcount planning, and succession Champion a zero-incident safety culture; own the HSE program, OSHA compliance, site-specific safety plans, incident investigation, safety metrics, and permit and environmental compliance across all sites Establish and continuously improve a standardized project delivery system: stage-gate reviews, project execution plans, WBS and cost coding, CPM scheduling (Primavera P6), earned value management, change control, and lessons learned Direct procurement and supply chain strategy for major and long-lead equipment — gas turbines, GSUs and power transformers, HV breakers and switchgear, BESS enclosures and PCS, inverters, and SCR/CEMS — including expediting, factory acceptance testing, logistics, and OEM-agnostic risk mitigation Oversee subcontractor and vendor management: prequalification, bid packaging, award, performance management, and closeout across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and specialty trades Partner with Engineering to drive constructability, interface management, and timely release of IFC packages; partner with Business Development on estimates, execution strategy, and pricing risk before contract award Own contract administration and commercial execution: scope management, change orders, claims avoidance and resolution, liquidated damages exposure, warranty obligations, and project closeout Direct startup and commissioning programs — pre-functional and functional testing, protection and relay testing, energization, utility and ISO coordination (ERCOT, MISO, PJM, WECC), and performance and emissions testing — through substantial completion and COD Serve as the executive escalation point for clients, IPPs, utilities, PE sponsors, lenders' engineers, and authorities having jurisdiction; maintain strong owner relationships that lead to repeat work Implement portfolio-level operating rhythms, dashboards, and KPIs — cost and schedule performance indices, risk registers, quality and safety metrics — to give leadership real-time visibility and drive accountability Build a high-performance culture rooted in safety, ownership, and disciplined execution; mentor and develop the next generation of Primavolt project leaders Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by the President REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS B.S. in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline; MBA or M.S. preferred; PMP and/or PE license strongly preferred 20+ years of progressive project delivery and construction experience in power generation, energy infrastructure, or heavy industrial EPC, with direct experience across gas turbine, BESS, solar PV, and/or HV substation and T&D projects 10+ years in senior operations leadership, managing project directors, construction managers, and functional leaders across multiple concurrent projects Proven record of delivering large capital projects (or portfolios) in the $100M–$1B+ range safely, on schedule, and within budget, from NTP through COD Demonstrated P&L ownership, strong financial acumen in EPC cost and margin management, and board or PE sponsor-level reporting Strong working knowledge of EPC/LSTK, cost-plus, and GMP contract structures, including change management, claims, and risk allocation Deep understanding of long-lead power equipment procurement and of commissioning, energization, and utility interconnection processes Exemplary safety leadership record, with working knowledge of OSHA, NFPA 70E, and site HSE management systems Proficiency with project controls tools and methods (Primavera P6, earned value, cost forecasting); experience standing up delivery systems in a growth-stage company Exceptional executive presence and communication — able to lead credibly in the field, in the boardroom, and across client and partner organizations
