Your Mission at brighthush

As a Healthcare Data Entry Specialist, you will serve as the frontline steward of our claims ecosystem. Your responsibilities will span data capture, validation, and quality assurance, all while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Capture & Validation: Accurately enter claims information, supporting documentation, and member records into our secure systems.
• Quality Assurance: Review and verify data for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to established procedures and regulatory standards.
• Compliance & Security: Uphold strict confidentiality protocols for sensitive healthcare and member data, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other privacy regulations.
• Productivity & Accuracy: Meet or exceed daily productivity, quality, and accuracy benchmarks while managing a balanced workload.
• System Proficiency: Navigate multiple data entry platforms and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) to support claims processing and operational objectives.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce errors, and enhance overall data quality.
• Collaboration: Work closely with claims adjudication, member services, and IT teams to resolve data discrepancies and improve system usability.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; additional coursework in health information management, data analytics, or related fields is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum two years in data entry, administrative support, claims processing, or healthcare operations.
• Typing & Accuracy: Demonstrated high typing speed (minimum 45 WPM) with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with data entry platforms or claims management systems.
• Self‑Management: Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple assignments in a remote environment.
• Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate data issues and collaborate across teams.
• Adaptability: Comfortable with evolving processes, new technologies, and continuous learning.

Preferred Qualifications

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
