About Us

Nurse D NCLEX Ready is a growing nursing education and NCLEX preparation business dedicated to helping nursing students and graduates strengthen their nursing knowledge, clinical judgment, critical thinking, and confidence. Our teaching approach goes beyond memorization. We help students understand the WHY behind nursing concepts, recognize clinical cues, identify patient priorities, and develop practical strategies for answering NCLEX-style questions. We are currently seeking an experienced, passionate, and confident Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a part-time Live Group Coaching Instructor. Position Overview We are looking for someone who can confidently LEAD, TEACH, and ENGAGE a group of nursing students during our weekly live Zoom coaching sessions. This is NOT an administrative position. We need an educator who is comfortable taking the lead, explaining complex nursing topics in simple terms, and encouraging student participation. Our weekly sessions focus on high-yield NCLEX content, nursing fundamentals, Adult Health/Med-Surg, pharmacology, clinical judgment, patient safety, and NCLEX-style practice questions. We provide an established coaching structure and teaching methodology. The selected instructor will be expected to understand and implement our approach while bringing their own clinical knowledge, teaching experience, and engaging personality.

Key Responsibilities

Lead interactive weekly NCLEX group coaching sessions via Zoom. Teach and explain high-yield nursing content in a clear, engaging, and relatable manner. Facilitate NCLEX-style practice questions and Next Generation NCLEX (NGN) clinical judgment discussions. Help students recognize important assessment findings, identify patient deterioration, and determine priority nursing interventions. Explain WHY an answer is correct and WHY other options may be incorrect. Encourage student engagement, participation, and critical thinking. Maintain a positive, professional, encouraging, and structured learning environment. Follow established teaching frameworks, learning objectives, and session expectations. Communicate professionally with Nurse D regarding session progress and student learning needs.

Required Qualifications

Must be a currently licensed Registered Nurse (RN). Strong understanding of nursing fundamentals, Adult Health/Med-Surg, and NCLEX-related concepts. Experience teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or coaching nursing students or NCLEX candidates. Strong verbal communication, leadership, and presentation skills. Comfortable leading live virtual group sessions independently. Ability to simplify challenging concepts without compromising clinical accuracy. Reliable internet connection, working camera, microphone, and familiarity with Zoom. Dependable, punctual, professional, and committed to student success.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience as a nursing educator, clinical instructor, NCLEX tutor, or nursing school instructor. Familiarity with Next Generation NCLEX, clinical judgment, prioritization, delegation, and patient safety. Experience facilitating online nursing education or live group tutoring. Engaging teaching style with the ability to make nursing education interactive and enjoyable. Schedule and Compensation This is a recurring, part-time opportunity. Primary schedule: Mondays at 6:00 PM Eastern Time. Weekly commitment: Maximum of two paid hours. Hourly rate: $40. Weekly maximum: $80. Additional availability: Thursdays may be considered based on program needs. Any preparation responsibilities or time beyond the agreed weekly hours must be discussed and approved in advance. We are looking for a reliable instructor interested in building a long-term professional relationship as our nursing education programs continue to grow. Our Ideal Candidate We want someone who is more than knowledgeable about nursing. We want someone who is a LEADER. Someone who can confidently take ownership of a group coaching session, communicate effectively, keep students engaged, and genuinely enjoy teaching. You should be comfortable breaking down a challenging NCLEX question, discussing the underlying disease process, asking students thoughtful follow-up questions, and guiding them toward better clinical reasoning. If you love teaching nursing and helping future nurses succeed, we would love to hear from you! Hiring Timeline We are moving QUICKLY! Interviews will begin immediately this week, and we plan to make our hiring decision by Saturday, October 24, 2026. Our ideal candidate will be available to begin as early as Monday, October 26, 2026. To Apply, Please Answer the Following Questions: Are you currently a licensed RN? What state are you licensed in? How many years of nursing experience do you have? Do you have experience teaching, tutoring, or coaching nursing students or NCLEX candidates? Please describe. How comfortable are you leading a live Zoom coaching session independently? How would you explain a difficult NCLEX prioritization question to a student struggling with critical thinking? Are you consistently available on Mondays at 6:00 PM Eastern Time for up to two hours? Are you also available Thursdays? Are you available to interview this week and begin as early as October 26, 2026? Bonus: Please include a brief introduction video (1–2 minutes) demonstrating your teaching personality or explaining a nursing concept. This is strongly encouraged but not required. We look forward to meeting a dedicated and enthusiastic nurse educator who shares our passion for nursing education and student success! Nurse D, RN, BSN NCLEX Ready 💜 Apply To This Job
