Family Office Relationship Manager
Family Office Relationship Manager | Mostly remote | Los Angeles area $150,000 to $250,000 base + bonus + future ownership opportunity Email resume to [email protected] A boutique, well-established family office is looking for a Relationship Manager to become a key right hand to the founder and a trusted point of contact for an exceptional client base. We are not investment advisors and we are not CPAs. Think of us as financial planning on steroids combined with a true administrative family office. We act as the outsourced CFO for ultra high net worth families (typical net worth between $100M and $500M, with some billionaires). We pay the bills, coordinate estate planning, set up LLCs, manage insurance, and handle essentially anything financial that touches our clients' lives, with a heavy dose of trusted advice along the way. What you would do: Own and service a portfolio of roughly 10 to 20 client relationships Onboard new families and become their day to day go to person Coordinate the financial, administrative, and planning details that keep complex lives running smoothly Grow alongside the founder as the practice expands What we are looking for: 5 or more years in the family office, wealth management, RIA, or private client world - we are open to someone with 5-10 years or someone very senior/experienced (especially if you can bring business) CFP or a strong client service background (the kind of work brokerage firms and RIAs do for their best clients) Someone sharp and intellectually curious, not a heads down accountant. Things move fast and live all over the place, so you need to thrive on multitasking and ambiguity Someone ready to hit the ground running Why this role is different: Significant work from home flexibility. You would rarely need to be in the office A genuine path to take over the business. The founder plans to retire in 10 to 15 years and wants to build a successor Real upside in compensation. As we add clients, your comp grows with the book. Bring in your own clients and you keep a meaningful share of that revenue A boutique, deeply plugged in firm with a loyal, sticky client base and strong roots in the Bay Area market Mostly base salary, plus discretionary bonuses and revenue share Process: a first conversation with the founder, followed by meetings with two or three current team members. If you have lived in this world and want the autonomy of a boutique with the upside of future ownership, we would love to talk.
