Field Service Engineer – CNC Machine Tools $35–$48 per hour + Car Allowance + Overtime Location: Indiana and surrounding states Travel: Regional customer visits with occasional overnight stays The Role We’re looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to install, service and repair CNC machine tools and associated equipment at customer sites. You’ll troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and software issues, carry out machine installations and calibrations, and train customers on equipment operation. Most work will be across Indiana, although candidates based in surrounding states will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Install, assemble, level, align, calibrate and wire CNC machines and accessories. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and software faults. Test machine operation following installation and repairs. Train customers on machine functions and operation. Read and interpret engineering drawings, PLCs and hydraulic/pneumatic circuits. Complete service reports documenting faults, repairs and parts used. Maintain a safe working environment and deliver excellent customer service. Requirements 7+ years’ field service engineering experience. Technical training in electronics, mechanical engineering or machine tool assembly. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems and understand PLCs. Experience reading engineering drawings and hydraulic/pneumatic circuits. Strong problem-solving, communication and reporting skills. Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs, with occasional heavier lifting. Willingness to travel throughout Indiana and surrounding states. Package $35–$48 per hour , depending on experience. Car allowance. Overtime opportunities. Regional territory with most work based in Indiana. Occasional overnight stays required.
