Job Title :Azure DevOps Engineer (Specialized in Azure Pipelines & Application Deployment)Location :100% RemoteDuration :Long TermRate :$50hr.C2CJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain CI / CD pipelines for application deployment in cloud and hybrid environments.The role involves working closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless and reliable software delivery using Azure DevOps (Azure Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts, Boards) and other supporting tools.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain CI / CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for automated build, test, and deployment processes.Implement and optimize multi-stage YAML pipelines for deploying applications to Azure App Services, AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), Azure Functions, and VMs.Configure infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep for consistent environment provisioning.Automate application deployments across development, QA, staging, and production environments.Integrate unit tests, code coverage, security scans, and quality gates (e.g., SonarQube, Checkmarx) into pipelines.Manage and secure pipeline secrets, credentials, and certificates using Azure Key Vault.Work with containerization (Docker) and orchestrators like AKS / Kubernetes for microservices deployment.Collaborate with development and operations teams to resolve build failures, release issues, and deployment bottlenecks.Monitor and improve pipeline performance, reliability, and scalability.Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.Support blue-green, canary, and rolling deployment strategies to minimize downtime.Maintain documentation, runbooks, and deployment guides for CI / CD processes.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.5 10years of experience in DevOps engineering, with at least 3years in Azure DevOps.Strong expertise in :o Azure Pipelines (classic and YAML-based)o Azure Repos, Artifacts, Boardso Azure App Services, AKS, Azure Functions, VMsHands-on experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep).Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, and scripting for automation.Experience with Git-based branching strategies (GitFlow, trunk-based development).Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerized application deployments.Familiarity with application monitoring and logging (App Insights, Azure Monitor, ELK, Grafana).Strong understanding of CI / CD best practices, DevSecOps, and cloud security principles..
