Fractional Recruiter (Part-Time, 1099 Contractor - As Needed)

Marsh Agency HR Consulting Services is an HR consulting firm that helps clients find and hire strong talent. We're looking for a contract recruiter with a strong sense of urgency to support our clients with their open roles. You'll handle the full recruiting cycle for several client companies at once, from posting jobs to delivering vetted candidates. • Job postings: Write and post job ads on job boards, LinkedIn and client career sites.
• Sourcing: Find passive and active candidates through job board databases, referrals, networking and Boolean searches.
• Resume review: Screen applicants against client requirements and send clients a shortlist of qualified candidates.
• Interviewing: Run phone and video screens to check skills, experience, culture fit, pay expectations and availability.
• Interview scheduling: Set up interviews between candidates and client hiring teams, including confirmations, reschedules and follow-ups.
• Candidate experience: Keep candidates updated and engaged at every stage of the process.
• Client communication: Give clients regular updates on pipeline status, candidate feedback and market insights.
• Tracking: Keep accurate candidate records in Marsh’s applicant tracking system (ATS).

What You Bring

• 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with agency or RPO experience preferred
• A strong sense of urgency and a track record of filling roles quickly without lowering quality
• Strong sourcing skills, including Boolean search and LinkedIn Recruiter
• Experience handling several requisitions and clients at the same time
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication
• Skill with ATS platforms and scheduling tools
• The ability to work on your own and manage your own time
• Your own computer, reliable internet and a professional workspace
• Availability to start immediately

Nice to Have

• Experience recruiting across several industries or for both high-volume and specialized roles
• An existing candidate network
• A recruiting certification (e.g., AIRS, SHRM, or similar)

Engagement Details

• This is a 1099 independent contractor role, not employment. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance and business expenses, and are not eligible for employee benefits.
• Contractors decide their own work schedule and methods, within agreed client deliverables and deadlines.
• Work is assigned by project based on client demand. Project length and hours may vary.

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour Experience:
