Position: Civil Litigation Associate – Texas Location: Dallas, Texas | 100% Remote Compensation: Up to $180,000 + Discretionary Bonus Billable: 1920 About: Our client is an established Texas law firm seeking experienced Civil Litigation Associates to join a sophisticated defense practice focused on complex electric utility liability matters throughout Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys substantive litigation, wants exposure to matters from investigation through trial and appeal, and is genuinely interested in developing expertise in a specialized area of civil defense. Responsibilities
Handle civil litigation matters from investigation through resolution Conduct pre-suit investigation and evidence preservation Draft pleadings, motions and other litigation documents Communicate with clients and opposing counsel Prepare matters for trial and participate in courtroom proceedings Manage billing and case deadlines Ideal Background 3+ years of civil litigation experience Insurance defense experience strongly preferred Texas Bar admission required Experience in one or more of the following is highly relevant: Construction defect Trucking/transportation defense Products liability Premises liability Property damage/subrogation Environmental litigation Governmental/municipal liability Energy or utility litigation Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between [$120,000 – $180,000]. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
